What is your perception of a "Rustic" wedding?
I see a lot of couple getting caught up in the idealism of a rustic wedding but their perception changes when they find out what a real rustic wedding is. A rustic wedding is one that is unsophisticated and is located in a country or rural setting, I've seen many people who like the idea of a "Rustic" wedding but only choose elements to give the impression that it's a rustic event. Simply having your wedding in a lavish hotel with rustic trimmings really isn't a truly rustic wedding. One particular venue in my market of Ballarat that I define as truly rustic is Donegan's Farm, located between Wallace and Gordon. Below is a link to their website. http://www.donegansfarm.com.au/weddings.html Why I have posted this link is because it is a venue located on real farm setting because rustic actually means "From the country". So when you choose to have a rustic wedding make sure you choose a location that suits the type of wedding you want, this means booking your venue early. Just remember that rustic isn't white table clothes and chair covers, it's wooden furniture and simplicity also a little rough around the edges. I hope this article will help you understand the true meaning of what it is to have a "Rustic" wedding.
